Wong Tai died subsequently.

The contents of house No. 15 were insured for $6,000 with Messrs. Schellhass & Co.

The contents of the house were insured for $5,000 in Messrs. Schellbass & Co.'s Office.

Mr. Ross, the foreman of the Volunteer

Brigade, sustained severe injuries.

A woman was slightly burnt.

A lighted bundle of paper was thrown into

the window.
